Child Safety Standards

FamTree is a private family network for users aged 13 and over. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.

1. Prohibited content and conduct

The following are strictly prohibited anywhere on FamTree — including trees, profiles, feeds, stories, albums, and chats:

• Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors, including CSAM;
• Grooming, sextortion, or the solicitation of minors;
• Trafficking of minors or facilitation of any of the above.

Violations result in immediate account termination and content removal.

2. How FamTree limits risk by design

• FamTree is not a public social network: there is no public content discovery, no stranger messaging, and no public profiles. Content is visible only within families that both sides explicitly agreed to connect.
• Accounts require sign-in and the service is restricted to users 13 or older under our Terms of Service.

3. Reporting

Users can report safety concerns at any time:

• In the app: Settings → Send Feedback (reports go directly to the developer);
• By email: support@myfamtree.app with the subject "Child safety report". Reports are reviewed with priority.

4. Enforcement and cooperation with authorities

When we become aware of CSAE content or conduct, we remove the content, terminate the offending account, and preserve evidence as required. We report confirmed CSAM to the relevant authorities — including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the appropriate regional authority — and cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.

5. Compliance

We comply with applicable child safety laws in the regions where FamTree operates and review these standards regularly.
